Anxiety often shows up not just in the mind, but in the body, and it can be felt through tension, restlessness, difficulty breathing, or a sense of being “on alert.” In our work together, I will help you gently explore both the sensational and emotional layers of your experience. Using somatic approaches and parts work, I will support your nervous system in finding true regulation while uncovering the underlying patterns that fuel the anxiety. The goal is not just to manage anxiety, but to create a deeper sense of internal safety and resilience.
Sexuality & Religion
Many people carry complex feelings when their sexual identity, desires, or orientation conflict with religious teachings or cultural expectations. This intersection can create shame, confusion, or a painful sense of disconnection from self or community. Our work together will honor your lived experience including your body’s wisdom, your inner parts, and your spiritual background. Together, we gently untangle internalized messages, support you in reclaiming your authentic self, and help you build a relationship with sexuality that aligns with your values and identity.
Body Image & Disordered Eating
Struggles with body image or food often emerge from deeper emotional and relational wounds. It can be the body’s attempts to cope, protect, or soothe you from what feels unbearable. Rather than pushing for control or “fixing,” I approach these concerns with curiosity and care. By working with your nervous system, exploring protective parts, and understanding the roots of self-criticism, I will support you in developing a more compassionate and embodied relationship with your body. Healing becomes possible when the body feels understood without judgement.
Trauma
Trauma is not only something that happened in the past, but also the imprint of those experiences on the nervous system. Using trauma-informed somatic practices, I work slowly and safely to support your body in releasing patterns of fight, flight, freeze, and collapse. Through mindful attention, compassionate parts work, and attachment-based repair, I will help you reconnect with your strengths, rebuild trust in your body, and create new experiences of safety, connection, and agency.
Relational Challenges
Relational challenges often stem from old protective patterns, attachment wounds, or unmet emotional needs that shape how you connect with others. You might notice recurring conflict, trouble with boundaries, or fear of closeness. In our work, we will gently explore these patterns through the body, the nervous system, and your internal parts. This integrative approach helps you understand where these reactions come from and supports more grounded, secure, and fulfilling ways of relating.
